Normally in the early morning we are lonely in the flat sea without waves and other boats, you can see from far away every movement. This is the best time for to watch the whales.

A “two day trip” as the best opportunity for a pleasant afternoon on the pristine beach of “Playa Limon” in combination with Whale watching – the majestic spectacle of “Humpback whales” in the bay of Samana …
- Our special program for groups from 15 up to 40 persons (Prices by arrangement, bookings every day) :
3.00 / 5.00 pm – arrival and welcome drink in the “Rancho La Cueva“, check into the rooms of our hotels, the rest of the afternoon free time for joy and fun on the beach of “Playa Limon“.
7.30 pm – a barbecue dinner at Rancho La Cueva, .
6.00 am – coffee and tea and a light breakfast at the restaurant, leaving the Rancho for to go by Safari truck to the Pier in Miches.
7.00 am – now we start the trip with the catamaran “Sonia” to watch the whales in the bay of Samana.
9.00 / 10.00 am – after a “snack” at the restaurant in Miches we go back to the “Rancho La Cueva” for to enjoy the swimming pool at the hotel, the beach, horseback riding, canoeing in the river, ….
1.00 pm – lunch at the Rancho La Cueva and free afternoon …
5.00 pm – check out from “Rancho la Cueva“
- Individual visitors can book on SUNDAYS the sunrise tour for the price of US$ 60.00/person (without transfer to the pier in Miches).
